Fuchs Schmitt was found­ed in 1967 by the entre­pre­neurs Paul Fuchs and Hans Schmitt, who laid the foun­da­tion for our ongo­ing suc­cess sto­ry with sound knowl­edge and dri­ve. Mr. Udo Ullerich man­aged the com­pa­ny until his well-deserved retire­ment in April 2020. Since then, Mrs Andrea Krumme, the new head of Fuchs & Schmitt con­tin­ues the good coop­er­a­tion with the MV Unternehmensgruppe GmbH & Co.KG in Lin­gen, to which the com­pa­ny Fuchs Schmitt belongs. In 1998, Fuchs & Schmitt GmbH & Co. KG was award­ed with the inter­na­tion­al fash­ion mar­ket­ing prize of the IGEDO Com­pa­ny for high prod­uct inno­va­tion, fash­ion com­pe­tence and con­sis­tent brand pol­i­cy. For 15 years, the fox’s head has been a key visu­al in the col­lec­tion and brand iden­ti­ty. The Fuchs Schmitt brand can be found at all lead­ing cloth­ing stores, chain stores and cor­po­ra­tions as well as well-known mail order com­pa­nies world­wide. A team of design­ers and pat­tern mak­ers cre­ates two col­lec­tions a year, each com­pris­ing around 300 pieces. The head office in Aschaf­fen­burg employs 100 peo­ple, the com­pa­ny has been train­ing appren­tices for many decades and received an award from the Cham­ber of Indus­try and Com­merce in 2014.
